Dear Mr and Mrs Akleman

I was very sorry to hear your news about Andrew, it came as somewhat of a shock as I saw him only last month in Edinburgh. Andrew and I shared a flat in Edinburgh for over 2 years and were good friends, the tales of his travels around the world and his ability to bridge cultures always impressed and amazed me.

You will be glad to hear that Andrew was thought of as a true and loyal friend by many people, always keen to help out, visit or just be there when needed.

He will be deeply missed by all his friends here in Scotland.
